Out on the lake
Drive 3 minutes to the public boat ramp, launch a kayak or paddleboard and cast a line from the water. Calm mornings are best.
While savouring some of our home-grown Wagyu.
From our ridges, Lake St Clair stretches out below you, and it's a view you won't tire of. Settle into a quiet spot among the cattle, away from the foreshore crowds, and wander down to the water whenever you like.
The waterfront campgrounds get packed in peak season. Up here on the farm it stays quiet: just the herd grazing around camp, birdsong and a fire at night. When you want the water, Lake St Clair is a 15-minute walk over the ridge or a 3-minute drive to the public boat ramp. In the evening, light a fire and watch the sun go down over the hills.
Seventy-five seconds from first light to the last of the campfire. Turn the sound on.

Wedge-tailed eagles hunt along the fence lines, and black swans and cormorants work the shallows.

This is a working cattle property, and you camp right among the cattle. Wake up to them grazing past your tent. Kids love it.

Cook dinner over the coals, then stay up while the stars come out over the water.

Walk the ridgelines for views across the lake and the hills that ring it.

Long before anyone pitched a tent here, this land was cleared, fenced and worked by hand. Old photos of the homestead and the horses that worked the property still hang on the wall.
You'll still see the weathered timber yards, and the cattle are still out in the paddocks. When you camp with us, you're staying on a farm that has kept working all that time.

Pick a site in the paddocks for your tent, swag or camper trailer. The lake is a 15-minute walk over the ridge. Groups can book a larger area together.
A few simple rules keep the farm working and everyone safe.
If a gate is shut, close it behind you. If it's open, leave it open. Stock may be moving.
Admire the herd from a distance, keep dogs on a lead near stock and never get between a cow and her calf.
Light fires only in the fire pit, never on Total Fire Ban days. Check the NSW RFS fire danger rating before you light up.
Bring your own water, a toilet solution and everything you need to cook. Phone reception varies around the lake.
Pack out every bit of rubbish. Leave your site how you'd want to find it.
Wear a life jacket on kayaks and boards, and watch children near the water at all times.
Eleven sites across the farm: down by the creek, up on the open ridges or tucked into the timber. Tap a site to see photos taken there, then book it on Hipcamp, where you can see live availability and pay. The fan on each photo point shows which way the camera was facing.
